Interior Architecture & Renovation Design

I work on interior renovation projects for people who want their home to reflect how they live and what they value.

My focus is on established homes with strong underlying structure, where the internal layout no longer supports contemporary life.

Through careful spatial reconfiguration — adjusting layouts, walls, and internal planning — I help unlock the potential of a home while respecting what already works.

Attention is given to the elements you live with every day, from cabinetry and built-ins to light, materiality, and finish, ensuring the home feels as good to use as it does to inhabit.

I also undertake a small number of commercial interior projects where clarity of space, restraint, and buildability are central to the brief.

How I work

Projects begin with understanding how you live now, what isn’t working, and what matters most in the day-to-day use of your home.

From there, I develop clear plans, elevations, and documentation that allow work to be priced, coordinated, and built with confidence. The process is structured in defined stages so decisions can be made carefully and in the right order, without unnecessary pressure.

I’m often engaged as part of a wider team, working alongside architects or building designers where clients want dedicated focus on the interior scope.

My role is to bring clarity to the interior work, helping clients make well-judged decisions that translate smoothly from documentation to construction.

Scope of work

My work typically includes:

  • Spatial reconfiguration and interior renovation planning

  • Adjustment of internal layouts, walls, doors, and openings

  • Kitchen, bathroom, laundry, and custom cabinetry design, including fixtures, fittings, and detailed joinery

  • Interior elevations, lighting and electrical layouts, material and finish selection, and comprehensive schedules prepared for pricing and procurement

  • Builder handover support for interior works

Projects are tailored to the specific needs of each home rather than delivered as fixed packages.

Fit

I’m a good fit if you value:

  • thoughtful changes that respect what already works

  • clarity in drawings and decision-making

  • a calm, collaborative renovation process

I work directly with clients, and I also collaborate with architects, builders, or building designers where my role is focused on the interior scope of a project — including renovations and new builds where the architectural design is already established.

I may not be the right fit if you’re:

  • looking for a full architectural service or primary building design role

  • seeking styling-only services

  • wanting rapid concepts without detailed resolution
